When a used tire makes sense
A used tire can get you back on the road for less than a new one. It makes sense when you only need to replace one or two tires and the others still have life in them, or when a new set isn't in the budget right now.
How to read your tire size
The size is on the side of your tire and looks like 225/60R17. The 225 is the width in millimeters. The 60 is how tall the sidewall is, as a percent of that width. The 17 is the rim size in inches.
Can't read it? The sticker in the driver's door shows the size your vehicle came with.
